The application process was quite straightforward, going through LinkedIn, which then took me to the Little Fish website.
The first interview was a 20-minute chat with the hiring manager, which was rushed and superficial.
The second interview included the hiring manager's manager and they were clearly working on other things for most of the time and then asked sort of inane questions at the end of the interview, which were going down the “work hard-play hard” and “we’re a family” route.
The final interview was more of the same, superfical questions from inexperienced managers.
In general, I felt as though I was being interviewed for a far more junior role. After advertising the role for several months, they took the easy route of taking an internal candidate and whilst that fills a seat it doesn’t move the business forward.
