Pros:
The HR communication throughout the process was excellent. The initial interview rounds were well-organized, and the interactions were professional and encouraging. The interviewers created a positive candidate experience and provided confidence that the process was moving in the right direction.
Cons:
After progressing through multiple rounds, including the final discussion with a consultant, I was informed that the company was looking for someone with more experience. This was disappointing because my profile, experience, and career history were available from the very first round. It would have been more efficient to assess this requirement earlier in the process.
Additionally, the final feedback was quite generic and lacked specific, actionable insights. Providing candidates with more transparent and constructive feedback after investing significant time in the interview process would greatly improve the overall candidate experience.
Advice to Management:
Continue the excellent HR communication practices, but consider aligning hiring expectations earlier in the interview process and providing more meaningful feedback to candidates after final rounds.
