I applied through college or university. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at London Ambulance Service (London, England) in Jan 2015
Interview
Long and not very useful for asking questions that actually matter for sound the job of a paramedic. Most questions were not extracting the correct information for hiring a paramedic in terms of interpersonal skills, leadership and paramedic skills.

Question 1
How have you been professional In a stressful situation
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at London Ambulance Service in Jul 2020
Interview
Very quick to interview, after that a complete disorganised farce. Deeply disorganised. Was offered a job but may turn it down. Made me drive to central london, 2 hours, into congestion zone, wont let me use on site parking, then were 40 minutes late to ID check my digital passport despite me being an LAS student for 3 years. They only saw me after 40 mins because I complained to the genuinely very helpful reception staff. Called a few days later told must attend central london again to prove I can lift a carry chair, which I did 100s of times with the LAS on placement. Also given 3 days notice and told this was the ONLY day I could attend. More costs for the student/applicant. Whats new?
Grad entry.
2 hour interview which will include questions on employer policy and pharmacology and scenarios.
There may also be a drug exam from the JRCALC and further questions about equality and diversity.
