Efficient and quick. Usually take process within one week, and I got heard back from the call within 2 days. I also received feedback from the interview which is really nice.

Interview
I completed a 3 day trial at leyf Stoke Newington. While I had a great connection with the children including successfully settling a crying child who was grieving for home to the point he specifically waited for me after my break and wanted me to sit with him at lunch, the feedback I received was disappointing. I was told I lacked passion, a vague reason that didn't align with my success with the children. Communication was poor, my follow up calls and texts were ignored for a week, only to be told I should 'reapply in 6 months.' If you are a mature, calm, or introverted professional, be aware that this branch may prioritise a performative energy over practical care results.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your trial days at Stoke Newington. We're really pleased to hear about the positive connections you built with the children, this is something we really value.
We're sorry that the feedback felt unclear and that it may have felt difficult to find a convenient time to connect with our team. We recognise how frustrating this could have felt and will take this on board to improve our candidate experience.
If you would like to discuss your individual experience in more detail, please reach out to Mel, our Director of People and Performance at Melanie.wright@leyf.org.uk.
