Interview
It seems like ghosting is prevalent in most interviews at Clevertech and I experienced this firsthand. I did an online assessment followed by an HR call where I was told I did well, and then a technical interview was arranged with a senior engineer. Interview was a straight forward tech discussion and simple API related questions. I was told again that I did well on the online test, and I would hear from them in a couple of days. Then, COMPLETE RADIO SILENCE! No communication whatsoever, not even a rejection, ignoring the multiple follow up email I sent. I can maybe excuse the ghosting if I didn't do well on their test or the HR screen, but to never hear back after going through an online assessment and 2 interviews is just inexcusable and a total disrespect of candidates' time, they seem to take pride in how they excel in communication being a company with a remote culture and all, but it's all a show. I suspect that they're just intervening for "evergreen" positions even though nothing concrete is there, hoping that they would have an available pool of candidates ready for whenever an actual role opens up, extremely unprofessional.

Interview
First interview was a Skype screening with a project manager. Upon passing this screen, moved to an interview with the CEO. No technical questions were asked for a technical position.
Interview with CEO was brief. He noted that my salary requirements were too high. I have since received offers for considerably more.
I am not sure how this organization can possibly screen and recruit talent effectively, especially if they can't afford a salary requirement that's actually low for that type of job in the industry.
