      Sales Representative Interview

      Jan 15, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Detroit, MI
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MIDSCI (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I had a few phone interviews with the territory manager, which were lengthy but went fine. I was really excited to finally meet him in person and he had a very short interview with me because he has to catch a flight. He basically offered me the job, but not fully. Then I got an offer over the phone. When they sent my contract package, it was extremely vague... so naturally I had questions. I called him to negotiate/get answers to my questions before I signed on a dotted line. He flew off his handle on me because I asked about the low base salary and 31 cents a mile compensation they give you for outside sales (with no car or allowance)... wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.
