The interview process was good. I had an interview with the hiring manager then made it to the next stage which consisted of three back to back to back hour-long interviews with groups of 2-4 interviewers. They asked about my experience and some behavioral-based questions. Everyone I interviewed with was very nice and asked good and fair questions.

Other Applications Engineer Interview Reviews for MIRATECH
I applied online. I interviewed at MIRATECH (Tulsa, OK) in Aug 2013
Interview
The first interview was a 30min long phone interview conducted by their Career Development & Recruiting liaison. It was a basic overview of my related experience, why I applied to MIRATECH, my goals for the next 1,3,5 years, and a chance for me to ask questions. There were a few behavioral questions, but there wasn't anything very tricky. Sarah, was incredibly helpful and very amiable.
The second step seemed to be a personality test conducted by a 3rd party company (I believe Humanex). This was online and took around 30 minutes.
The third round was comprised of a 50minute phone interview/conference call with the Application Engineering Supervisor as well as the Design Engineer Supervisor (as I was being interviewed for both). The questions were mostly behavioral, but we also talked about projects I had worked on and my specific experience.
The fourth round was another phone interview, but it was a behavioral interview conducted by a 3rd party company (Humanex). This comprised of situations and I responded with how I would react in each situation. I believe this was to see what my strengths were and how my character traits were classified.
The final round was an in-person interview. It lasted approximately 4 hours. We started with a tour of the facilities and then I had a short interview with the Application Engineering Supervisor. Then I had a group/panel interview for 45minutes with the Application Engineering team, another 45min interview with the Design Engineering team, a 30 minute interview with a group/panel of people from other various areas in the company (sales, marketing, business etc) and then we wrapped up the morning with a long lunch with the VP of Engineering and the Design and Application Engineering Supervisors.
Please note that since this review, MIRATECH has undergone an extensive leadership overhaul and full ownership restructuring. It is a much better interview experience than it was over 10 years ago :)
