What I found most ironic is that the rejection email stated I could call to ask for feedback but no phone number was provided. When I followed up to ask which number I could call, I never received a response. I would strongly recommend improving these processes, as the experience felt very unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I only had an HR interview, during which the recruiter asked questions from a list. Most of them focused on whether I had worked with technologies that were already clearly listed on my CV, along with a some soft-skills questions.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ML6 (Ghent)
Interview
Quite Elaborate and time consuming, with a lot of effort. The process started with an assignment, followed by the first technical round which was mostly about fit, but the paper presentation round was about presentation and verbal skills.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at ML6 (Amsterdam) in Jan 2026
Interview
The first step was an introductory video, where presenting yourself clearly is valued. Next step is a take-home assignment. In my case, a dual retrieval engine. Afterwards, a background and technical interview with an engineer going over your solution. Afterwards, a presentation over a paper they provided you with. And finally, prior to the offer, a meeting with a senior to confirm cultural fit and values allignment.
