I found the job posting on LinkedIn and applied via MNTNs website. It took about a month for a recruiter to reach out. I told him I was in the very late stages with another company, so if we were going to proceed it needed to be quickly. The team was incredibly respectful of my timeline. I had a call with the recruiter on a Friday. He sent a SQL assessment afterwards which I submitted that same day. The following Monday I had a call with the hiring manager. Tuesday I had a call with two team members. Both interviews were very conversational, they asked me about my experience and asked questions about my knowledge and how I would go about solving different problems. By Tuesday afternoon I had an offer in hand. I did end up with an offer from the other company as well. I accepted MNTNs offer because the team seemed fun to work with, the company mission excited me, and the benefits are excellent.
