The company was very quick to extend an offer. Too quick in my opinion. One manager extended an offer without interviewing. They seem kind of desperate to hire technicians.
I asked to see their lab after they extended the offer, but before I accepted. They agreed, and I flew out there. They kinda surprised me with more interviews.... after they had already extended the offer. I didn't do so hot during those interviews (which I wasn't really expecting to happen) and they rescinded the offer.
I had a few takeaways. This company seems like they are willing to go back on
their word. This company has some really knowledgeable technicians, but they generally seemed unhappy (kinda like they were all constantly stressed and needing a smoke break). The company seems like they have a robust training program. The training program is good, but I also wonder if the reason for the robust training is because they could have a high turnaround of employees. I can't confirm this, but it is an observation that I had.
Overall, I don't think they have a structured interview process. I noticed a bunch of red flags. If they hadn't rescinded the offer, I would have declined it.
