I was contacted by an external recruiter who set up an interview with a lead software developer at MST. That process was easy enough. The interviewer was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and we had a great first conversation. He introduced me to two other executives in the company for a second interview, neither of whom responded nor made any further contact. When I followed up, the recruiter and my interviewer said they wanted to keep moving me forward, but nothing ever came of it and I quickly stopped trying. It seemed like the ball kept getting dropped on their end.
For a company whose main product is literally a system to help companies track job applicants, it's pretty disappointing that they couldn't even manage some pretty basic hiring practices. To me that's the sign of a very outdated company that doesn't stand behind what they sell, so I had no issue with the fact it didn't go anywhere.
