I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mash Media (UK) (Kingston upon Thames, England) in May 2018
Interview
It was a long and exhaustative process, I went through 4/5 stages which included a phone interview by their recruiter than a phone interview by the Editor, next included a example press release and I had to write it in article format, than included a face to face interview with three people and than another writing test to write three articles in one hour. It was advertised as an entry role position but I assume they wanted somone very polished (I only being a graduate at the time). The people were nice but I got a sense of false hope as I was put through so many stages and soon realised after receiving feedback, that they had already really made their decision at the phone/interview stage. Whilst I can understand they wanted to get the time to know me but I felt it was too rigorous of a process and the feedback given was very generic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They essentially ask questions about the roles you have done based on what’s on your CV and how you manage deadlines and writing copy in short amounts of time.
