I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meso Scale Diagnostics in Jun 2022
Interview
I was reached out by a recruiter where she went through the role's description in detail. After a few days, she sent an interview invite for an initial phone screen after asking if I was available the day of or the day after. I chose the day of and didn't realize it was a technical interview so I did not have much time to prepare.
The interview was pleasant enough. Started with some basic technical questions on core JAVA, database access flow, and web services. Then, it was onto the coding exercise. Had to share my screen and have an IDE ready which they informed me was needed on the invite. I was told to write program for a deck of cards. Recruiter reached out soon after and was told they passed on.
Overall, process was OK. Maybe next time, let the interviewee know it's a technical interview. That would help.
