Phone interview after submitting resume was pretty cut and dry. They had two marketing positions available at the time, I expressed interest in both. They brought me in for an interview that was scheduled to last 30 minutes but it lasted almost an hour and a half. It was 3 people interviewing me at once, one who would have been my direct supervisor (who had to run after 30 minutes) and the other 2 who were more HR related (but weirdly HR and marketing were more intertwined than I realized and they mentioned we'd be working together--but I forgot in what capacity). Overall I felt I did great but I feel I had a different marketing skillset than what they were looking for (I was more digital/social, whereas they wanted someone to do event planning). I also got a hunch they wanted someone younger (20s) who didn't have as high of salary demands (I'm in my mid 30s) which was fine as I'm not sure the role would have been the best fit for me.
