I went through a couple rounds of interviews and reached out to HR for a status update after 2 weeks passed from my final interview. I was told to hang tight and then received a call 2 days later from management saying that the company was going through internal restructuring and that they were going in a different direction. Needless to say I was disappointed and would have thought that the restructuring was taking place before I stepped foot in their office for an interview. What a waste of time.
