I had an initial interview, and the recruiter I talked with had a very boring mood and was unenthusiastic. The way she spoke was super slow, and there was a loud background noise that distracted me. That negatively affected my mood throughout the interview. Additionally, she dismissed my experiences, saying that I have little to average experience, which is not true, just because my resume has one page. She insulted me by suggesting that I should not aim for a senior position due to my supposedly limited experience and that I should just settle for a lower position.
She also belittled Koreans' English-speaking abilities (my former employer) because she compared them with the American native speakers, which are their clients.
It was a negative experience for me and the first time someone talked to me like that, it was like judging me as a person, not with my technical skills.
