For the initial screen I met with the Director of the Cincinnati and Boston divisions over Zoom. The conversation went well and I was invited to a second interview with the local team, also over zoom. I felt that this conversation went well and was met with radio silence for a month. After two weeks, I reached out to the Director with whom I had spoken and got no response. I waited another two weeks and reached out to the local team, who seemed surprised that I hadn’t received any update. I was informed that I had not been selected for the position. It is one thing to decided that I am not the candidate for the job, it is another thing entirely to ghost me, and who knows how many other candidates, for at least a month. That is unacceptable and frankly disrespectful.
