I applied online. I interviewed at Mission BBQ (Columbus, GA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Laid back. Interview process was too long. 3 total in person interviews and a working interview. Received another offer during the process. Total of 3 week process. Had it been quicker, I would've accepted the position.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mission BBQ (Tulsa, OK) in Sep 2025
Interview
Professional and multi layered with leadership team and regional operations team. Felt heard as well they shared insight to the company's inception, development and future growth goals. Also how you fit in this design.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mission BBQ
Interview
2 phone interviews, a meet and greet, a 3 day “stage” of prepping in the kitchen, unpaid, then two weeks for me to hear any news. By then, I had found something else. The salary did not reflect the amount of time the interview process took. I would expect this from a GM, high salaried position, not a $60k management one. Most of the people were friendly, there was one of the newer “area” guys that had quite an attitude.

Lots of questions about people. Not so many about working in restaurants.
