After a brief 20-minute one way video interview, I was given a HackerRank test which consisted of three questions to be completed within 60-minutes. I was able to complete the entire challenge within 45-minutes, passing every single HackerRank test. Not a single error. However, the next day, I get an email that says “due to your results, we will not be proceeding further”. This is a highly misleading statement considering the test results showed no errors in any way and the code was clean and concise. While it is highly acceptable to lose out to other candidates, being given a highly misleading and falsified statement only makes me question the competency and the motives of the leadership within this organization. Perhaps, it is a good thing to have found this out now than to have made the mistake of joining this organization only to find a leadership that is not trustworthy.
