I applied online. I interviewed at Mobas in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was lengthy, lasting over a month and a half. While I appreciated the opportunity to meet various team members and found each stage generally enjoyable, I was disappointed with how the final stage was handled.
In my third interview, I was given the impression that an offer was likely, with phrases such as “don’t update your CV too much” and “expect a call soon” being used. This language felt misleading in hindsight, as I ultimately did not receive an offer.
If candidates are taken through to the final stage and reduced to the final two, it would be more respectful to communicate the outcome via a phone call rather than an email (Especially given how much time candidates give)
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mobas (Cambridge, England)
Interview
Informal, quite standard, come in, answer a few questions about your experience and then come back for a second interview and present some ideas. I've had a number of interviews at Mobas over the years for different positions, however, they've always lied and not offered me a position. They got me in once to present some ideas, then said they loved the ideas and they really wanted to work a position out for me. After 2 weeks of waiting, they told me there wasn't a position for me anymore. A week after a recruiter rang me and asked if I wanted to be put forward for the role I'd already had 2 interviews for. So they just blatantly lied and took my ideas for their client...
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mobas
Interview
Was approached by a recruitment agency. Lovely office and lovely people. Location a bit awkward but free on-site parking available for employees. Usual questions with regards to past positions and their projects. Great vibe in the office and during the interview. Looks like a balanced team with many additional benefits also available to staff.
