After applying the recruiter reached out to me almost immediately. We had a great 30 minute telephone conversation and stated he wanted to move me to the exercise. He sent the exercise 3/5, it was completed 3/6. I asked for confirmation that he received it— no response. I have since outreached 2x and finally outreached again this week (3/18) letting him know I assume I am not being considered and would appreciate any feedback if that was the case so I could put my best foot forward for other interview— still no response.
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I completed an exercise that I was given. If candidates do not move forward in the interview process that is fine, but ghosting them is not, especially when they take time to complete an unpaid exercise within 24hrs— the least you can do is respond to an email and let them know you are not moving forward.
