Applied online and recruiter reached out for a 30 min technical interview. The interviewer had no clue about my background or anything about my experience. That was fine until they started insulting my non-CSE background. Tech interview was a word doc of sql questions. Simple joins mostly, but it almost felt like a roasting session. At the end of 1+hour call by now, I shared my concern about how condescending and unprofessional the entire interview was. I haven't heard back from the company but even if I get to the next round, I wouldn't sit for another conversation with anyone showing this culture.
