Was approached by their internal HR and asked to apply and that my CV was sitting with the hiring manager. Then heard nothing back, I followed up and was eventually told that they received applications from individuals with more relevant experience. Why directly approach someone to deny them an interview? I then applied for a management accountant role via a recruiter and was told they know of me but no further reason why my CV, yet again, won't be considered.
