The duration of the interview was for a long time more than an hour. Not too difficult to crack the interview. Having prior experience will be helpful. Need to have experience in searching for candidates in different job portals.

Question 1
What are the challenges that you face in Recruiting field?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Myriad Technical Services (Naperville, IL) in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview process was grueling, I was there for over two hours. The president of the company was the one who held the interview and he had many questions. He also expects you to read over multiple case studies and choose the candidate you believe would be the best fit for the position described in the case study. Following that, he had me sit at a computer to ‘experience’ what the day to day tasks would be. Without much information or guidance he left me at this computer to look for candidates for positions he needed filled. After about 20 minutes I decided to follow up whether this was something he expected me to continue doing and his response was ‘why? Do you have somewhere to be?’... considering I was not being paid, I said that yes in fact I did have somewhere to be. After leaving the interview he sent me an email requesting a written explanation as to why I should be considered for the position over another candidate- he wanted this response sent back to him by the end of that same day. I did receive an offer for the position, however the offer was handled very unprofessionally and it was a low ball of an offer. When I tried to counteroffer, he completely denied my request and continued to insult my level of experience. Overall, I would not recommend that anyone takes this position. You will be underpaid and overworked, as from how he explained overtime is expected.

Question 1
Why do you believe that you should be considered for this position?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Myriad Technical Services (New York, NY)
Interview
While I saw many come in for painfully long interviews after I came onboard (sometimes 2+ hours), mine was a typical interview length and fairly straightforward. The interview was with the president/manager, which was unexpected. Questions were straightforward as well, and there was a portion where he asked me to select a candidate from a small group of resumes that would be a good fit for a position description he had printed out. I will say that my interview was much easier than what I saw other interviewees going through.
