      Intern Interview

      Dec 29, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Ann Arbor, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at NSF (Ann Arbor, MI) in May 2014

      Interview

When I was a student at the University of Michigan, I applied for an internship at NSF. I had a phone call with the recruiter, who was extremely helpful with all my questions, and there were a lot of questions since this was my first real job interview. When I went to the headquarters for the in-person interview, everyone I met was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about their respective position and the organization. However, I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of people I met in the short amount of time I was there. None of the questions were too aggressive or mind-boggling, just questions about myself and what kind of degree I was pursuing. Much of the interview was about what kind of work I would be doing. Overall, it was a positive experience for my first real-world job interview.
