I applied for the Senior Business Analyst position at NTG Apps through LinkedIn. The HR team contacted me to discuss my experience and salary expectations. Despite knowing I have 20 years of experience, they proceeded with an online technical interview, followed by an on-site interview with the CEO.
Three days after the CEO interview, I inquired about my application status and was told that I was overqualified because they were looking for candidates with around 10 years of experience. It's frustrating that despite being aware of my experience level from the initial HR call, they still invited me for multiple rounds of interviews.
Additionally, they didn't even bother getting back to me with an update until I reached out to them. This process felt like a waste of time and effort. Clearer communication and consideration upfront would have been greatly appreciated.
