Interview process was prolonged. Personally didn't take much effort but it took them some time to go through applicants and get back to you with each step. They're very thorough though; providing resources and reminding you of deadlines.
I applied August of 2017 and got invited to do a phone interview within the week.
The application you had to submit prior is subject to review during this phone interview so it's good to go over your application answers to open ended questions.
After my phone interview at the end of August, I was invited to the next stage which was giving a demo lesson. It took about two weeks for them to give me their decision.
They have resources sent to you about that so nothing is too confusing about what they need you to prepare.
The day I had the demonstration lesson, I had to teach a 5 min lesson of my choice to fellow perspectives and two reviewers. They give you time to go over your lesson and practice with peers and the point of it is to see how well you perform before and after constructive criticism (glow and grows). Its important to note that they don't have a minimum no. of applicants to hire (at least in my application year). If they like everyone, they will take all. So very encouraging.
I was told at the end of October that I got into the 2018 program. I was informed that I had approx. a week to reply about my decision but they give you more time.
