I applied online. I interviewed at National Library Board in Apr 2026
Interview
Virtual interview conducted via teams, which went smoothly overall. The entire session lasted about 25 minutes and was well-paced. The interviewers were professional and structured in their approach, taking turns to ask questions.
The questions asked were fairly predictable and focused on past experience, handling of scenarios, and understanding of the role.
The overall atmosphere was neutral and straightforward, without much informal conversation, still respectful. It felt like a standard competency-based interview.
At the time of writing, I am still pending updates from HR regarding the outcome or next steps.
Negative experience
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at National Library Board (Singapore)
Interview
There's no introductory call, just an abrupt call to schedule for an interview. It was so fast that i didn't had the chance to ask about the role, level, salary expectations, etc. It's a very much one-way communication. Eventually I tried to ask questions, but it seemed like I couldn't get any info from HR and the JD is very general. Recruiter should also show some basic respect because it reflects the board's reputation and culture.
Application to shortlisting process was prompt. Offer was prompt too. Interviewers anre professional, friendly and down to earth. Overall it was a great interview experience with them and great impression was left
