After communicating via email for a couple of weeks, the owner and I decided to meet in person in Jacksonville. I was picked up at the airport by the owner and taken to the offices which were very open and creative. They had just hired a Marketing Manager but I was there to see if I could be a fit in another capacity for the company. We interviewed for a couple of hours and I met with the President, the owner and other colleagues. They were somewhat unclear on how I could fit into the organization. Left the offices feeling a little uncertain as to the next steps. Returning home and sent email thank you notes as well as hand written and tried to follow up a couple of times with no response at all! Not very professional and disappointing.
