I applied for the ERP consultant and got an interview. However, during the interview I was told that they felt I was more suitable for another role, account manager cum marketing admin. I was a little disappointed that this information wasn't provided before hand as I was not interested in marketing and would not have accepted the interview. In the end I was offered the account manager cum marketing position, however the package was not attractive. It resulted in a decrease of salary. After a week's consideration I replied trying to negotiate for a better package, however was ignored. I attempted to follow up again but was met with a very unhappy response about how it took me a week to reply and I was just asking for more money. Needless to say I was thankful I didn't accept the job.
