I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience interviewing for a finance role here.
The recruiting process was confusing and poorly communicated. I received an interview invite for an HR screen but wasn’t told if it was phone or video, and my questions to the recruiter went unanswered for several days. This lack of basic communication was disappointing.
During the interview, I was repeatedly asked about payments—a subject not mentioned in the job description on LinkedIn or the company website. When I sought clarification, I learned the recruiter was actually scheduling interviews for a different, already-filled role. This mismatch led to wasted time and effort on my part.
After the interviews, I was left waiting with no responses to multiple follow-ups. This lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort stands in stark contrast to the company’s stated mission-driven values. Claiming to be mission-driven while treating candidates poorly feels hypocritical and disingenuous.
I hope Neon One reflects on their hiring process and aligns their candidate experience with the values they promote.
