The process started positively: communication was clear, and the technical assessment was well-structured and fair. In my interview with Matthieu, the feedback on my technical skills seemed very positive, and I appreciated the professional and respectful tone.
However, the overall experience felt inconsistent. The job description originally emphasized flexibility (“we care about what you deliver, not when or where you work”). Still, during the interview, I learned the role actually required relocation and a fixed hybrid schedule. After raising this point, the job description was quietly updated to reflect the new policy.
Finally, the rejection feedback I received stated both that my skills didn’t match and that I didn’t express why I was a good fit, which was surprising given the earlier positive feedback. It left the impression of internal misalignment and a lack of transparency.
