Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Nimap infotech (Mumbai) in Nov 2025
Interview
I got a call from HR, and she scheduled my interview The interview lasted for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It was very tough — the interviewer asked deep and detailed questions. I was able to answer some of them, but I struggled with a few. Despite the long interview, I was still rejected, and I’m not sure why.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
He asked me to explain the Event Loop, including all its phases, what each phase does, and why it exists. There were also questions on Node.js architecture — how Node.js is built internally and what components it consists of.
Additionally, he asked very tricky questions on call, bind, apply, and complex Promise and async/await code snippets where I had to predict the exact output.
Even after such a long and detailed interview,
In the first round, the interview was technical, and I was asked some pattern-based coding questions, like 12345*****1112131415. Then, they asked SQL questions about finding the nth salary and some JavaScript basics. After clearing that, the second round was an assessment where I had to solve four basic coding problems, which were fairly easy. In the final round with the CTO, he asked random questions and expected answers only in his way, making candidates feel like they lack knowledge—likely a tactic to negotiate a lower salary. Additionally, the company is very small, and employees often feel trapped in a restrictive environment.
1) tech round
2) one-on-one interview
3) hr round
The process is simple and straight forward which is quite help full. I don't what else to say I'm just typing to complete the criteria.
