Got sent a take-home test. I submitted it and they approved me for an interview. When the interview time came, they never showed. I suspect they are just creating fake job postings to collect data
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nooro in Jan 2025
Interview
Nooro hires an outside agency to handle their recruitment. The process itself is quite informal, the first step being a Google Form to fill out. If you pass the first step, you'll be given a take-home task.
My skills & qualifications checked every box in the job description, and I completed the take-home task. About a week later got a vague email stating: "We appreciate the effort you’ve put in. After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to move forward with your application at this time. We encourage you to apply again in the future if you feel your skills have grown or better align with our current needs. We wish you all the best in your career journey." However, zero feedback was provided as to which ways they believe my skills should grow, or why my skills don't align with Nooro's needs.

Question 1
Build a basic CRUD todo app using Node.js, Express, MySQL & Prisma, and Next.js & TailwindCSS. Follow a Figma for the UI. Maintain modularity & composability in your code. Do it in 5-6 hours.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nooro in Dec 2024
Interview
The first step of the process was to create a weather app, following their specified designs. They said they were very impressed with the app I created, and scheduled a technical interview for a few days later. I logged into the Zoom room at the agreed upon time, but the interviewer never showed up. I emailed them twice to see what happened, and they never responded. It's one thing to not show up for a scheduled interview, but not even bother to respond is another level of disrespect. I've never been treated in such an inconsiderate way by a prospective employer.
