      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at North (Kitchener, ON) in Sep 2018

      Interview

The entire process was quite lengthy - I went through 7 different rounds, over approximately 6 weeks. However, I think this may have been condensed if I wasn't an international candidate. With me being based in the UK, all the interviews were by phone or on Google Hangouts. First Round: I was sent a link to complete an online test, a couple of questions and a small coding test. Second Round: A short telephone interview with the lead of the team I applied for. This was mostly around making sure the role is something you're looking for, and getting a feel for the company. Third Round: This was a technical telephone interview with a developer. This mostly covered my experience, and what was listed on my CV. Fourth Round: An interview was with the recruiter. This one was focussed more on my personality - why I think I'd be a good fit etc, as well as covering other aspects such as relocation, expected salary, and other things that they offer. Fifth Round: This interview was a 3 hour interview, split into 3 sections. The first hour was a technical interview going through some technical questions and a couple of whiteboarding challenges, mostly architecture focused. The second was also with developers, covering more technical questions and whiteboarding challenges focused around monitoring and analytics. The third hour was with a Product Owner covering my experiences with Agile, and interpersonal skills etc. Sixth Round: I was asked to complete a take home challenge. I was given the choice to do it over the rest of the week in the evenings, or over the coming weekend. This was an interesting challenge that took around a day. Seventh Round: The final stage was an interview with one of the founders, Aaron Grant, to discuss the company, it's vision, and how I might fit in to that. Overall it was a time consuming process, but it was handled well and they were very considerate of my time constraints. The time difference actually helped me here, as I completed all stages in the evening after I got home from work, rather than having to take time off. At times you do get asked the same question by different people at different stages of the process, but it seemed to me like they were each trying to create their own opinion of you to compare later, rather than simply repeating themselves or not sharing notes. The thing that stood out to me most was how enthusiastic everyone was - they genuinely seemed to love working there.

      Interview

I applied this position online and was asked to have a online test for programming skills. After I was notified I was selected for the next step, I had a online interview with two people.

      Question 1

For online test, there were some basic questions regarding basic programming skills, not difficult actually.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at North (Kitchener, ON) in Sep 2018

      Interview

This was one of the best interview process that I had experienced so far .Only con is that it is time consuming and lengthy. It all started when I applied for one of the Jobs online through LinkedIn First round: Received a link through email to complete a coding test on online. It has two questions one Coding challenge and another Code review. Second round: Once you clear first round you will have a telephonic round with HR executive and software Team lead. This is about understanding more about your profile and to know about your previous professional skills and projects and check how you fit to the applied job. Third round: This is a face to face interview with a team of developers and HR . With HR it is mostly behavioral interview and some knowing about the company. With developers it is divided into two rounds both white board and each round lasts for one hour. One round is problem solving skills and another round concentrates on design capability. Fourth Round: Take home challenge. This was interesting mini project to be completed during the week. 5th round: Interview with the founder .I had great conversation with Aaoran Grant one of the founder of the company. He was very energetic and had great vision for the company a head. Overall I think this was a great experience personally and the feedback for all rounds where given either on same day or next day and the HR team was truly professional in helping me with providing information on commute etc .

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Take home challenge was not straight forward. It required to refresh some physics and mathematical knowledge.I had to spend 75 percent of time for understanding the requirements ,solution and just 25 % coding.
