I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Noteworth
Interview
The interview process was very scattered and unorganized. After making it through two rounds, I was asked to complete a design exercise. Since I was very interested in this role, I put several hours into this exercise in order to have a better chance at being selected for the next round of interviews or accepting a job offer. After turning the project in, crickets... No one ever provided feedback or anything. This came across very rude. Also, instead of the recruiter sending a nice, personalized rejection email.. I just got an automated one. If you are going to ask applicants to do something outside of their current work hours, have the respect to provide feedback.

Question 1
Can you tell me an example of when you disagreed with your team on UX related decisions and how did you handle it?
Pretty straightforward, and exactly what one would expect. Expect to be on camera during each part of the process. First I spoke to the recruiter, then the director of product design twice. After about 3 rounds, I had a design challenge with about a week to complete, which was quite generous. After my design challenge, the recruiter followed up with a feedback call. They respected my request to put in a 2 week notice at my previous job before starting at Noteworth.

Interview
I applied towards the end of April and the team got back to me a week later. The interview process was very straightforward. The questions asked were standard questions about skills, tools, work, style and inspiration. There is also a design challenge that has to be presented to the team.
