Met recruiter at school career fair. Shortly after, I was contacted for an interview. I scheduled an interview, and then I had a one on one interview with of the recruiters. The interview took about half an hour. Short technical evaluation done on paper. Went over it with the recruiter.

Interview
When I first applied about a year or more ago for the internship, I submitted my resume at an information session at UCSB. About 2-3 weeks later I received an email for an interview. Interview was very informal, relating more to behavioral questions and your resume (in other words: know your resume very well). Fairly simple first interview. 2-3 weeks later (I think), I received another email for a second interview, only this time it was a technical interview regarding a LAMP stack server. Fairly simple. After completion of the second interview, I received an offer for the internship.
