I was deeply disappointed with the recruitment process I underwent with Novasol Chemical (Belgium Company - Canada Office). Since my profile was recommended in January, I participated in six interviews—four with the company and two with a Head Hunter. This prolonged process, coupled with the lack of efficiency, professionalism, and disregard for candidates' time, is simply unacceptable.
Despite the lengthy process, I maintained a positive attitude and was willing to accommodate every request, prioritizing them over other processes and delaying or rejecting other opportunities.
Furthermore, I was led to believe that an offer was imminent, only to be informed via email that I did not meet all the requirements for the position. This revelation was a sudden disappointment, especially considering it was not communicated earlier. Why did they wait four months to provide this feedback?
I urge prospective candidates not to invest their time, effort, professionalism, and expectations in this company. The core values on its website do not align with the reality of its actions. The lack of transparency, efficiency, and respect demonstrated throughout this process reflects the company's true nature.
Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for opportunities that value your career.
