The in-person interview was very pleasant and went very well. I was contacted for a second phone interview with Novem's international colleagues. The interview was all about SAP from what I could tell. I had a VERY difficult time hearing the questions being asked. The absolute worst part was not being contacted for 5 weeks even after the recruiter left voice mails and emails regularly. I find this to be one of the most unprofessional things for hiring managers to do. It's better for everyone if the decision made is shared immediately rather than postpone the inevitable.
This may not be an issue for others, however, it is for me. I am fairly certain that Novem would be a great company to work, but the hiring process leaves much to be desired. Again, the in-person interview itself was very pleasant.
This company is ONLY interested in SAP experience and knowledge. So, if you have 30 years of experience in the job itself, you are no good to them if you aren't an expert in their system. Systems can be taught. Experience is developed over time.
