I applied online. I interviewed at Numerator in Aug 2020
Interview
Really straight forward and seamless process. Started with a phone interview with the recruiter, followed by an aptitude test (Numerator is owned by Vista, which leverages another company they own that attempts to better vet candidates). Honestly, while other interviewees complain about this step, they provide a mobile app as prep and it was actually pretty enjoyable. Upon acceptance, I had 1 virtual interview with the hiring manager and engineer, a case study, and then 3-4 virtual interviews with other members of the team. The case study was meant to show off your PM expertise, while a majority of the interviews were more conversational to ensure culture fit. Recruiter and hiring manager were extremely helpful and transparent throughout the process.

Interview
The process containing 5 steps.
- Basic Test (MCQ - Role related questions)
- Introduction
- Assignment
- Assignment Review
- 1 on 1 with 3-4 people based on the role
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Numerator (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
The process was very comprehensive. There was an initial interview screening, a cognitive aptitude test, a presentation to the team, then individual interviews. While I did get an offer for this role, I actually did not for a prior role. One thing I appreciated is HR had an actual call with me to connect on the teams decisions, a step that is (sadly) not always provided back to the applicant. Especially after such a comprehensive process, I was happy that they followed up with me on the job I didn't get to download with me on the decision and what I could improve on.
