The whole process was a waste of time. Over 6 weeks wasted. HR was the only benefit but she was even kept in the dark. Phone interview with HR. First they confirm your salary expectations and if it's within their range then continue. Then Teams interview. Which HR confirmed availability. Teams meeting had to be rescheduled later on during the day because of customer issues, understandable. Had Teams meeting and 1 of the owners showed up late and threw HR under the bus. Had a second Teams interview with the other owner. Great interview. Comfortable. Went through real-world scenarios and how I would resolve them. Spoke about a Team lead position. Confirmed Salary expectations as HR did previously. Overall, great experience. Third interview, on-site with another manager. Great interview. Again, real-world scenarios. Very comfortable. Great experience yet again. Again, asked about Salary expectations. Fourth interview, Teams interview with the manager and the owner who threw HR under the bus. Explained why the process is so long and to see if I'm a good fit for the team in terms of personality and attitude. Made me an offer below my Salary Expectations and below the minimum they were offering and for a different position that the first interview and second interview. Excuse was experience, yet one of the real-world scenarios presented to me, took their experienced team hours to find the issue and get someone onsite to resolve it yet only took me minutes.
