The first interviewer was initially lovely and respected my time. We had multiple conversations about the role, and she asked many questions which eventually led to an in-person interview with someone else. This person, in contrast with the first interviewer, gave me a negative energy and she DEFINITELY enjoyed power games. As a woman, it was dead obvious to me. I had a toxic manager before and I could easily recognise some traits there. I got a job offer however I declined as I had a very negative vibe from this person and working somewhere negative and focused on power is not something anyone should do unless you have no choice.
