I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at OnceHub in May 2025
Interview
OnceHub’s interview process was multi-stage — including initial conversations, a detailed take-home assignment, and multiple discussions with the CPO, a Senior PM, and the CEO.
What stood out was the company’s genuine interest in evaluating product thinking through real problems rather than textbook questions. The assignment was thoughtfully scoped and evaluated in a way that felt like a two-way fit rather than a one-sided test.
The only downside was that the process spanned a bit longer than expected, but overall, it was a highly rewarding and respectful experience.

Question 1
I was asked to walk through a product I had owned end to end from discovery to delivery to post-launch analysis. The focus was on how I made decisions, how I validated problems, and what outcomes the product delivered. The interviewers were genuinely interested in structured thinking and real-world impact.
In another round, I was asked to walk through how I would improve the UX of a real product screen they shared. It was a white boarding-style discussion where I had to critique the interface, propose improvements, and explain my decisions based on user needs and business goals.
