Interview
The interview process was okay. The interviewer was very "matter of fact" and it was a lot of rapid fire questions. The interviewer did not seem enthusiastic about the role or the company, but was nice. I didn't leave feeling more excited about the role and the company but really the opposite. A lot of the questions were painfully vague such as "on a scale of 1-10 describe your comfort level resolving tech issues" this is a very hard question to answer when you know nothing about the platform they use. The interview felt rushed and I was concerned about work life balance since they had emailed me back on a Sunday morning after the interview to answer a few questions I had. They make you state an hourly rate you desire, and will not state their rate first, but she did state it after I stated what I was looking for. They put you on the spot and make you pick your days and hours, but you can change them after- I did. I did not get offered a second interview, but after the first, I'm not sure it was a good fit.
