I recently interviewed at Oodles Technologies for a Frontend Developer role, and it was a really well-structured experience. The questions were of medium level and covered all the right areas — starting from HTML semantics, CSS (flex, grid, animations), and JavaScript basics like let/var/const, closures, and higher-order functions. After that, I was asked a couple of coding questions followed by React concepts such as props, props drilling, Redux, Context, and hooks (useCallback, useRef, useEffect, useLayoutEffect). They also touched on routing with useNavigate and asked me to create an HTML structure for a card. Overall, it was a smooth process that tested both fundamentals and practical frontend skills.
