I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Orange Quarter (Amsterdam) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied to Orange Quarter earlier this year through a rec2rec. I was introduced and had a call with the MD, who I instantly got on well with and found very engaging and interested. I was subsequently flown out to Amsterdam to attend a Face to Face meeting.
The MD flew me out the day before the interview and put me up in a great business hotel. He met with me for a drink the night before the 'proper interview' but to be honest this turned out to be an in depth discussion and was similar to the earlier call I had. This made the next day a lot easier as we'd already covered a lot of the interview stuff the night before.
The day itself was really enjoyable, I got the chance to sit and meet with everyone, have lunch with the team and by the end of the day I almost felt like part of the furniture and to be honest I was ready to accept an offer.
The MD unfortunately came back a few days later and mentioned he wasn't confident enough that they could give me what I was looking for as my circumstances were very specific at the time.

Question 1
What is your biggest strength/weakness in the recruitment process
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Orange Quarter (Amsterdam) in Sep 2023
Interview
There was a recruiter interview, followed by two separate interviews with two senior members of the team. Other than the recruiter interview, the 2 interviews were done in-person at their office, and felt more like casual chats rather than an interview.
