      Operations Program Manager Interview

      Dec 17, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Otter in Nov 2022

      Interview

Approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn who was looking for my particular set of skills and talents. Interviewing at Otter was a long process filled with many tests and assignments BUT I have a lot of positive things to say about my interview experience! Process: 1. Recruiter Phone Screen (30 mins) 2. Timed Excel Technical Test (60 mins) 3. Hiring Manager Interview (30 mins) 4. Creative Assignment (One week to review a case study, create a deck, and detail out several examples of how I might optimize several processes). 5. Panel Presentation to four people (60 mins) The best thing I can say about my hiring experience is that it was straightforward, to the point, tested my technical and creative skills for the role and most importantly: MY RECRUITER WAS MY BIGGEST ALLY. Dotted line communication, genuinely wanted me to succeed, fast response time, and genuine culture of looking for strong talent was prevalent throughout the process. Interviewing for Otter WAS a lot of work but it's clear they're looking for individuals that like a challenge and aren't afraid to give it 100% which makes me feel better about the type of people that I'll be working with. Also genuinely felt connected to everyone that I interviewed with and everyone had a spirit of collaboration and welcomeness. Great way to start a new career. Overall a great experience.
