1. Initial Contact:
I sent a cold email to the co-founder and received a response within an hour. We scheduled the first interview round quickly, which made me feel excited and hopeful.
2. First Round:
The first interview was a standard introduction where I discussed my current experience. It went very well, and I felt confident and motivated when I was forwarded to the next round with another co-founder.
3. Second Round:
Despite preparing thoroughly to showcase my skills, the second interviewer’s expectations didn’t align with my responses. The focus on leadership and Salesforce, areas where I am strong, left me feeling disappointed and frustrated when I couldn’t fully convince him. Being rejected after putting in so much effort made me feel disheartened, especially since the entire process took just one week.
