After sending an application, I was chosen for the second round, where I was requested to fill in a form of sorts. The form was very long, took me a very long time to fill in information that was already present in my application and CV. To me this was cumbersome and not a very pleasant experience.
Then, I got an invitation for an interview where I was asked about my education and experience. The CEO seemed ok at that point.
At some point it felt like the interviewer did not listen to me, I felt he was maybe a bit bored. After my initial introduction, the interviewer went on to talk for 30-40 minutes in almost one go, and I could only give a small "sure" or "yeah right" in between. It did not seem like a discussion at all, it felt more like a stream of consciousness presentation with things going in all possible directions.
After the rather exhausting monologue, the interviewer asked me "Do you think this would suit you?".
After the interview, I got an offer. The offer mentioned that there was a race between 3 candidates, and that I got the position. However, I strongly doubt there were any other applicants alongside with me... To me it felt like the company tied to make me feel better, or to give an impression that the company is popular among candidates. I might be wrong though.
