Interview
I applied to one of the company's editorial positions and went through multiple rounds of interviews, then I was met with a month of radio silence, even through two follow-up emails confirming my interest in the position. I began to feel incredibly ignored. Finally, HR got back to me and sent a very impersonal (and frankly, kind of rude) rejection.

Question 1
They asked really basic editorial questions that anyone with journalism experience could answer. I was surprised by the lack of effort in developing brand specific questions.
Hiring manager was fairly rude. He hardly gave me the time of day during the interview and was distracted the entire time. He also didn’t engage with me at all, judging from the way he just rattled off questions like it was a script, and clearly didn’t look at my resume because he said I didn’t have experience (when I did).

Nice initial phone interview then ghosted - never heard from her again. I guess it would be nice to get an email that was like “we went in another direction.”
